Joe Koch has nearly 40 years of investment experience servicing clients and their financial needs. Since 1994, Joe has carried the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. He joined B. Riley Wealth Management in 2010 and developed the Blue Mountain Wealth Management team in 2024. As the Managing Director, Investments for Blue Mountain Wealth Management, Joe works with each client individually, drawing on his CFP designation and nearly 40 years of experience to provide investment solutions tailored to their specific goals and circumstances.
Joe focuses on providing knowledgeable, ethical, personalized advice along with the exceptional client service his clients have come to expect for more than three decades. He provides his clients with investment solutions designed to help them plan for their financial goals and to help address the challenges of market volatility.
Joe is a graduate of Western Michigan University, where he earned a BBA degree in Finance with minors in Economics and General Business. He’s a former Mayor of the City of Plymouth and a past member of the Plymouth City Commission. Joe remains an active member in the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce. He has been a dedicated member of the Plymouth Lions Club for the past 35 years and has served on the Plymouth Lions Foundation for the last 23 years as President and Trustee. He helped start and grow the foundation's corpus balance from zero to over $350,000, generating over $200,000 in income to help the less fortunate in the Plymouth community.
